In this 70th year of the literary James Bond, we are celebrating the written legacy of all things 007 at Pinewood Studios with a very special event on October 29th in association with Ian Fleming Publications.

The day will kick-off with morning coffee in the John Barry Theatre and terrace – which faces the new ‘Sean Connery Stage’ – followed by the first ever UK cinema screening of the original 1954 version of Casino Royale, plus an exclusive and never-before-seen filmed interview with Jimmy Bond himself, actor Barry Nelson discussing the production.

With readings of extracts from books by Bond actors throughout, as we introduce: Jon Turner to discuss his mentor Richard Chopping’s designs for Fleming’s James Bond books and archive (which he curates) as well as Ian Fleming biographer Andrew Lycett will discussing all things Ian Fleming.

David Lowbridge-Ellis will then host interviews and discussions with continuity authors Raymond Benson, Charlie Higson, 00-series author Kim Sherwood, Young Bond author Steve Cole and (pending filming commitments) Anthony Horowitz.

Lunch will follow and then we’ll move into the Pinewood Picture Gallery for book signings, mingling, informal chat, some memorabilia tables and a talk about Pinewood filming locations by author Dave Worrall on the garden patio, before afternoon tea brings the day to a close.

There’ll also be a 24 page exclusive commemorative souvenir brochure included.

Come and join the band, with host David Zartisky (The Bond Experience) and star guests Kristina Wayborn, Tony & David Meyer (Octopussy) and Martine Beswick (From Russia With Love) as they celebrate several milestone anniversaries in 2023. This year marks From Russia With Love 60, Live and Let Die 50 and Octopussy 40, and the concert will feature tributes in music to all 3 films, as wells memories shared from the guests, and of course all your favourite songs.

This year’s show will be housed at the iconic 02 Arena (Indigo at the 02) - which of course is the site of the iconic speed boat chase climax in The World Is Not Enough.

Agent 007 (Sean Connery) is back in the second installment of the James Bond series, this time battling a secret crime organization known as SPECTRE. Russians Rosa Klebb (Lotte Lenya) and Kronsteen are out to snatch a decoding device known as the Lektor, using the ravishing Tatiana (Daniela Bianchi) to lure Bond into helping them. Bond willingly travels to meet Tatiana in Istanbul, where he must rely on his wits to escape with his life in a series of deadly encounters with the enemy.

David Zaritsky from The Bond Experience brings his annual gathering of Bond Fans State side together for the 4th years since its inception.
